Fishing Reports

Potomac Report / Spring

Flowers are blooming and the birds of prey (osprey) have come back to the Potomac.  Time to drop the boat in the water!  Snakeheads will push into creeks and start to take lures.  Fish either the Maryland or the Virginia side. Target creeks with defined channels either natural or manmade.  

  • The longer the cast the better
  • The darker and bigger the lure the better (Meps in Line Spinners / Large Black Plugs)
Snakeheads can be found from Aquia Creek to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge
