Spro Frog Vs Snag Proof Frog

Hook ups vs Blow Ups

I have fished with both the Spro Frog and the Snag Proof frogs this year.  Hands down the Snag Proof Frog outperforms the Spro Frog.  The Spro Frog does a good job of catching fisherman as on the shelf it looks like a better lure.  The biggest difference between the Spro and the Snag Proof is the texture of the plastic.  The Snag Proof frog plastic is very soft.  This allows you to typically hook a bass or snakehead with both hooks.  The Spro frog I have seen a significant amount of blow ups on the lure without hook ups.
